Blue Planet is your preferred source for a consistent, first-quality supply of Eureka lemons from Mexico's most respected lemon producers with orchards in areas favored with the right combination of climate, sunlight, well drained soil and the plentiful water supply these lemons need to be flavorful, abundantly juicy, yet with very few seeds. We cooperate with our grower partners to pick, inspect, package and present you with the only the Blue Planet best.

Lemons can be cut and eaten as fruit, and in fact, are enjoyed as such by many of the peoples of the world who relish their tart flavor. More commonly, however, their "medicinal properties" are added to the diet in other delicious ways. Both savory and sweet dishes benefit from the tangy, refreshing flavor of lemons. The zest, the fruit (whole, sliced or quartered) can be used and the juice is often added as a vinegar substitute for a lighter, more refreshing vinaigrette.

- cartons containing 18 2lb bags.

Merchandising Blue Planet Lemons from LGS
This precious fruit has so many food and cosmetic uses it is virtually impossible to list them all. First, lemons can be used fresh as a garnish on fish, meat or all kinds of beverages, from tea to tequila. They can be squeezed for flavorful juice, even made into lemon soup. They can be canned, concentrated, frozen, or dehydrated and powdered, in lemonade, carbonated beverages or other drinks. They can be used for making pies and tarts, as a flavoring for cakes, cookies, cake icings, meringues, puddings, sherbet, confectionery, preserves and pharmaceutical products. A few drops of lemon juice, added to cream before whipping, gives stability to the whipped cream. Lemon peel can be candied at home or supplied to manufacturers of confectionery and baked goods. It is the source of lemon oil, pectin and citric acid, which in turn, is used in the creation of many, many youth, health and beauty products.
